The love relationship between Doris Dana and Gabriela Mistral is one of the most interesting love stories of the 20th century. Travel, literature and strong personalities mix together in these intense 10 years of the life of the Chilean Nobel Prize winner. Rafael Rubio, without a doubt one of the most relevant young poetic voices in Chile today – taking this extraordinary and hidden relationship as a starting point – develops in poetic prose and in an imaginary way, the voice of Doris Dana. Ms Dana accompanied Gabriela during the last years of her life and was the executor of her will.
