Ban collects the writings of Tang Siu Wa as a columnist for Ming Pao and has been out of print for 12 years. Each article is accompanied by snapshots, communicating every precious moment of life. Centering on local issues from experiences of her solitary life, human sentiment to trending topics of the city, Tang depicts the cityscape and how the world works with a writing style similar to the Western essays. The sentimental as well as philosophical reflection of the author on the fast-changing reality recognizes the values of history and community memory.
