The Evil Bookworm did not back down from his wicked intention to harm Novice Kaew and Noi Chaiya easily. He, again, threw the duo into the book of Saiyu where the demons were on their mission to stop Xuanzang from finding the Buddhist Scriptures. To achieve the holy mission and find their way back home, the duo and Wukong joined force to safeguard Xuanzang and help him find the scriptures.
