This book describes how activists shut down Wanwoldong in Busan, which had been the largest prostitution district in Korea and the first state-regulated prostitution district, established during the time of Japanese imperialism. Wanwoldong in Busan is a place that is difficult to access except by men who buy sex, sex dealers and workers, and nearby merchants.
