Yaode JN is a visual pioneer in Taiwan’s subcultural and contemporary art scenes, opening up new ways of understanding the world through an artistic lens. His command of codes is both meticulous and emotionally resonant, reaching into the deeper, non-normative layers of human emotion. As a designer, his collaborators include Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, and Hong-Gah Museum. He has also worked with contemporary artists such as Manbo KEY, TENG Chao-Ming, and WANG Hsiang-Lin, as well as taken on commissions from several techno collectives that have played key roles in Taiwan’s cultural development.
