The “CK English Readers” series is comprised of 18 English language leveled readers for young learners with an optional companion English as a Foreign Language/English as a Second Language (EFL/ESL) curriculum. The series is divided into 3 levels, and each book contains 1 fictional story and 1 short, related nonfiction passage. The first level, with 6 books, contain stories at the CEFR A1 level. The second and third levels, each with 6 books, contain stories at the CEFR A2 level, and the optional companion curriculum includes 4 animated videos per book for engaging storytelling for young students. Each story in level 2 and 3 is centered around a particular emerging technology in the 6T categories (nano tech, environmental tech, space tech, biotech, info tech, cultural tech). A highly recommended series to build reading confidence!
