This illustrated book presents the exhibition and atelier at the Loris Malaguzzi Centre since 2014 and displayed in many other countries, also translated into Chinese and displayed in 2025 in several Chinese cities.
The book includes a collection of works by young girls and boys in the municipal infant-toddler centres and preschools of Reggio Emilia, Italy.
The aim of the research carried out was to try, as far as possible, to gain a better understanding of the poetic interweaving between children’s drawings and words, in order to restore to drawing, to the instruments and materials of drawing, to words and to the children, the cognitive and expressive richness they generate.
