CK i-Master
Introduction
Foundational English series for advanced literacy and cultivating imagination, based on the principles of IB PYP teaching and learning
The “CK i-Master” series is a 12-volume English as a Second Language/English as Foreign Language (ESL/EFL) series containing reading books, practice books, and review books. This advanced program for primary-aged students develops literacy and comprehension while also cultivating imagination. Each lesson covers the fundamental skills of English – reading, writing, speaking, and listening – along with skills to improve comprehension – vocabulary, grammar, reading summaries, and chunks – with a heavy focus on output. Each lesson contains either a extended writing assignment, with step-by-step instructions and activities to lead students through brainstorming, outlining, writing, and reviewing, or a project that allows students to put their abilities to the test! Projects based on real life situtations and problems expand students’ creative, critical, and imaginative thinking and build their problem-solving capabilties.
This program is suitable for classroom usage or at-home usage for advanced primary students (age 8-13). For classroom usage, there is also a digital version of the textbooks available with digital tools.
