An Unfamiliar Journey Between a Father and Son
Five years after losing his mother to cancer, Seung-woo is suddenly reunited with his father. However, his father’s place in his memories has long been empty, and the man standing before him is rough in both speech and action. As Seung-woo climbs into his father’s truck for the ride home, his heart overflows with anxiety. Throughout their journey, the boy, who has closed himself off through selective mutism, and the clumsy father constantly clash. Yet, the unexpected events they encounter on the road become a bridge, allowing them to look into each other’s deep-seated wounds. Embracing the void left by the mother, the two finally face one another.
